The NFL has concluded its investigation into an exchange between Buffalo Bills guard Richie Incognito and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, and Incognito is not expected to be punished, according to Vic Carucci of Buffalo News, citing a league source.

However, a league spokesperson told reporters that the investigation remains under review.

Ngakoue accused Incognito of uttering racial slurs during their wild-card matchup in the first round of the playoffs.

Great win to day! And 64, you goin have to come harder than some weak racist slurs. I'm proud of my African heritage, as are 70% of the other Black players in this league. #Iaintjonathanmartin!

The NFL launched an investigation into the matter the day after the game.

While Bills general manager Brandon Beane chalked up the situation to a "misunderstanding," Ngakoue maintained his position.

"He knows what he said. I don't gotta repeat it," he said.

Incognito and Ngakoue are scheduled to be AFC teammates in the Pro Bowl on Sunday.
