The feud between Buffalo Bills guard Richie Incognito and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue appears to be resolved.

The men met and cleared the air regarding a racial slur that Ngakoue said Incognito used toward him during their AFC wild-card showdown, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.

Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson confirmed that he saw the two speaking before the first AFC Pro Bowl practice on Wednesday, although Ngakoue declined to comment on the details of their discussion.

Jackson did allude to the fact that an apology was discussed, suggesting it may have been Incognito who had initiated the conversation.

"We (NFL players) have a huge respect for each other, and sometimes the heat of the moment can get to you, and you can say things you might not really mean or do things you might not really mean and be apologetic for it," Jackson told DiRocco. "I think it shows the true character of a man to come and apologize and/or talk about it to clear the air."

The day after their wild-card showdown where the slur was allegedly hurled, Ngakoue stated that he didn't remember exactly what had been said, but that Incognito knew what he said and it didn't need to be repeated.
