AFC takes down NFC in Pro Bowl Skills Showdown
In the second running of the NFL's Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, the AFC came out on top, besting the NFC after five fan-friendly events.

The Oakland Raiders' Derek Carr got the AFC rolling early by setting a new high score (21) in the precision passing event. He outscored Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams by one point for the win.

Gridiron GauntletThe NFC team ran through a makeshift obstacle course faster than their AFC compatriots to level up the showdown.

Best HandsThe New Orleans Saints' Michael Thomas dethroned Jarvis Landry of the Miami Dolphins as the Pro Bowler with the best hands. Thomas ran through the course in one minute, two seconds with help from his quarterback Russell Wilson.
The contest's best moment, however, came during Keenan Allen's run through the event. After struggling with one-handed catches, the Los Angeles Chargers star bailed hard at the finish line.

In the inaugural running of the kickers' skills event, the Carolina Panthers' Graham Gano topped Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell by matching a tic-tac-toe line in the uprights.

Epic DodgeballLandry came through for the AFC in the final event, catching a throw from Gano to win Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball, gain the three points from the event, and give his conference the victory in the skills showdown.
