Packers' Adams, Panthers' Davis resolve feud ahead of Pro Bowl

The Pro Bowl is serving as an opportunity for reconciliation between rivals this year.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis put an end to their feud Friday ahead of the league's annual All-Star Game. Davis delivered a hit on Adams during a Dec. 17 game which rendered him concussed.

"He came and hollered at me the first day," Adams told ESPN's Michael DiRocco and Jenna Laine. "It happened about a little over a month ago now so we kind of settled it. I'm trying to let bygones be bygones.

"Obviously you don't forget things like that, but at the same time we're teammates out here and you want to be civil and still have a good time so that's what it's about."

Adams accused Davis of head-hunting on Dec. 18, though Davis insisted there was no intent to injure his opponent. Davis received a two-game suspension as a result.

"He said he understood," Davis said. "He said that he was emotional when it happened. He was mad. But we've talked it out. We're in a good place right now."
