If you're tired of seeing Tom Brady and the New England Patriots represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, we have some bad news for you.

The Patriots' star 40-year-old quarterback told "Westwood One" on Sunday that he will return for a 19th NFL season.

"You're gonna see me playing football next year," Brady said, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN. "I don't envision not playing. You're at the end of the race but you've got your biggest mountain to climb right at the end.

"Hopefully all the lessons we've learned have allowed us to be at our very best for this moment and that's what it's going to take and that's what we're prepared for and that's what I go out and expect our team to do."

Brady has little reason to walk away. He was just named the regular-season MVP for the third time in his career, and New England possesses a strong core of talent that should keep them in title contention as long as Brady stays healthy.

While some speculated that earning a sixth ring Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles would lead Brady to hang his cleats up, it appears the rest of the NFL will have to wait a little longer for the future Hall of Famer to stop being a near-immovable roadblock in front of the Lombardi Trophy.
