In a time of grief, Edwin Jackson's family is blocking out all the noise and focusing on what's most important.

President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday about the death of the Indianapolis Colts linebacker and another man. The two men were struck on the shoulder of the interstate by a drunk driver who was found to be living in the country illegally and without a valid driver's license. Trump called it "disgraceful" that a person living in the U.S. illegally had committed such an act and called on Democrats to take a harder line on illegal immigration.

"It doesn't matter," Jackson's agent, Butch Williams said of Trump's tweet, according to Stephen Holder of the Indy Star. "He's lost. All that other stuff, they can do whatever they want with that. They're dealing with their son, man. That other stuff doesn't matter."

Trump offered his condolences to Jackson's family five minutes after his initial post.
