Philadelphia mayor warns 'knuckleheads' to stay away from Eagles parade
An estimated two million Eagles fans are expected to attend Thursday's Super Bowl LII victory parade, and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney wants to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.
Kenney issued a warning Tuesday to the "knucklehead contingent" who vandalized Philadelphia following the Eagles' 41-33 win over the New England Patriots.
"The small number of knuckleheads should stay home," Kenney said, according to NBC Sports.
Some Eagles fans celebrated the victory by climbing light poles, flipping cars, and causing the awning of the Ritz Carlton hotel to collapse. Surveillance video also showed a group of people looting and destroying a gas station convenience store.
