Report: Bruins have interest in Rick Nash
The Boston Bruins reportedly have interest in New York Rangers forward Rick Nash and are engaged in ongoing discussions about acquiring him, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
Dreger points out that the Bruins' current cap situation complicates a potential deal. The team has just over $2 million in cap space, while Nash carries a hit of $7.8 million.
No surprise BOS a potential front runner for Rick Nash. Bruins have their own first-round picks, plus quite a bevy of really solid prospects, such as Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson, Ryan Lindgren, Trent Frederic etc etc, all of which would be attractive to NYR: https://t.co/2vQI0tC0iR

Nash is in his sixth season with the Rangers and is just two goals shy of his 12th 20-goal campaign.
The Bruins look to be going all-in heading into the playoffs. The club currently sits second in the Eastern Conference, just three points back of the Tampa Bay Lightning for top spot.
