Report: Bruins, Rangers have deal in place for Nash

The Boston Bruins reportedly have a deal in place to acquire forward Rick Nash from the New York Rangers, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.

A trade between the Bruins and Rangers involving Nash was reported to be nearing its completion Saturday night, but that salary-cap restrictions stood in the way from it being finalized.

However, it is now being reported that New York will be retaining 50 percent of Nash's hefty $7.8-million cap hit, the maximum amount allowed, per McKenzie.

Nash's name has been heavily involved in rumored trades over the past couple months, with talks intensifying in recent days. The addition of a player of Nash's caliber is most definitely a major addition for a Bruins club looking to take a serious run at the Cup.
