Peyton Manning will not be taking his on-air talents to ESPN as the former NFL great has ruled out appearing as a regular on Monday Night Football, sources informed Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

In an effort to lure Manning to ESPN, the network reportedly offered the longtime quarterback up to $10 million annually to join its broadcast. It's believed FOX has presented Manning a similar offer.

While Manning has yet to decide if his future lies in broadcasting, he is still considering FOX, which announced a five-year rights agreement in January to air Thursday Night Football through its network.

FOX has considered pursuing former ESPN Monday Night Football host and current NBC Sports frontman Mike Tirico to pair with Manning, as well as FOX's lead analyst Troy Aikman.
