The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with free-agent wide receiver Mike Wallace on a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday.

The deal is worth $2.5 million with the chance to make more through incentives, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Wallace appears to be replacing Torrey Smith, who was traded to the Carolina Panthers, as a deep threat in the Eagles' offense after averaging over 14 yards per catch through the past two seasons.

The 31-year-old spent the last two years with the Baltimore Ravens, making 52 catches for 748 yards with four touchdowns last season. The Eagles will be the fifth team Wallace has joined in his nine-year career.
