Library of Congress In 1929, Roger Babson correctly predicted the Great Crash. This one right call ensured him a lifetime of financial success.
Even though his theory about why the crash happened was completely wrong, it didn't matter. People thought he was an oracle, and so they trusted him to handle their money.
