A.J. Green calls idea of trading Odell Beckham Jr. 'stupid'

Fellow receivers are weighing in on the Odell Beckham Jr. rumors, and it should come as no surprise those who play the same position as Beckham are stunned by the idea he could be traded.

"That's stupid. That's stupid, man," Cincinnati Bengals star receiver A.J. Green said Sunday at an event in Georgia, according to Edward Lewis of NFL.com.

Beckham and the New York Giants are at odds over contract negotiations and the player's behavior off the field. While the Giants insist they aren't shopping their marquee talent, they're reportedly fielding inquiries on him.

"It's a once-in-a-lifetime, or once-in-a-generation talent, man and you've got to be ready," Green said.

And he believes Beckham will ultimately get his money.

"I think he'll get paid. They not that crazy," he said.
