Signpost: Gun amnesty underway, coyote watch and more

April's gun amnesty, being held by Hamilton Police Service and the OPP, will allow Hamilton residents to voluntarily and safely surrender unwanted and/or illegally-owned firearms, weapons, accessories or ammunition during the month. Police will not recommend weapons-related charges that might otherwise apply, with the exception of weapons used in the commission of a crime. Gun owners should call Hamilton 905-979-2724 to arrange retrieval. Citizens are not to bring these items to police.
