Seagate Storage Devices Achieve Common Criteria Certification for GDPR Security

Today Seagate announced that it has achieved Common Criteria (CC) certification across a broad portfolio of its Hard Disc Drives and SSDs, expanding on its existing Seagate Secure Certified Service Level. "Seagate remains committed to certified hardware security solutions and is proud to have worked with the international community for several years to develop the FDE Protection Profiles. We're excited to now bring Common Criteria certified products to the market to meet our customer's data security and data privacy requirements, as well as regional and international regulations," said Monty Forehand, Product Security Officer at Seagate.
