Stoney Creek residents who experienced damage caused by the "unprecedented" April freezing-rain storm can apply for help from the city's disaster relief program. Hamilton councillors approved extending the residential municipal disaster-relief assistance program to homeowners who experienced basement flooding and other damage caused by the severe storm April 14 and 15.
