NFLPA vows to 'challenge' aspects of anthem policy inconsistent with CBA
The National Football League Players Association responded to a new policy implemented by the NFL on Wednesday, which requires that all players and league personnel must stand for the national anthem and flag prior to games if they are on the field, while also allowing personnel to stay in the locker room instead.

Soon after the policy was announced, the NFLPA released the following statement, noting that they weren't consulted about the legislation and vowing to "challenge any aspect of it that is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement":
