After successfully scratching out a role on the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie, running back Corey Clement wants to see his responsibilities expand in 2018.

"I definitely want to get more touches, more carries, more catches out of the backfield this year," Clement told Paul Domowitch of Philly.com. "I want to be more of a key contributor. I don't think that's being greedy. I have a job to do and that's to put this team in the best position possible (to win)."

Clement emerged as a third-down weapon for the Eagles last year, especially following the season-ending knee injury to veteran Darren Sproles early in the campaign.

His star exploded at Super Bowl LII, when he made four catches for 100 yards including an impressive third-quarter touchdown in the Eagles' win over the New England Patriots.

Philadelphia lost fellow tailback LeGarrette Blount in free agency, opening the door for Clement or someone else to claim a larger role as the complementary piece to Jay Ajayi.
