Ontario leaders' debate left viewers none the wiser about the candidates

For the partisans, each can claim victory for their leader. No one laid an egg or knocked it out of the park. Each leader played the part that was expected of them - Wynne contrite about the mistakes she admits her government has made, yet steadfast in defence of what she sees as its successes; Ford boastful about his claims that he will do things differently while saying he's the only one who cares about the economy; Horwath fighting a two-front war by attempting to assuage the fears that she is at once too far left and not far left enough.
