Walker would welcome Dez 'with open arms' if he can help Titans
Free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant doesn't seem to be drawing much interest from NFL clubs, but at least one fellow player wouldn't mind teaming up.
Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker was recently asked whether he'd be open to his club signing Bryant.
"Most definitely. Even though I know we've got some good premier receivers on our team - Corey Davis, Rishard Matthews - it's another element if they was to bring him to the team," Walker said, according to Selby Lopez of SportsDay DFW. "If he can help us out, gladly I would welcome him with open arms."
Walker and Matthews led the 2017 Titans with 807 and 795 receiving yards, respectively, combining for seven touchdowns. Davis, the No. 5 pick of the 2017 draft, was limited to 11 games due to injury and finished his rookie campaign with 375 yards but no touchdowns on 34 receptions.
Bryant hasn't been strongly linked to any team since reportedly turning down a multi-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens near the end of April.
The 29-year-old posted 838 yards and six touchdowns with the Dallas Cowboys in 2017, numbers that would have easily led the Titans' pass-catching group.
