With NFL training camps opening in less than three weeks, there are a number of veteran free agents still looking for a job. That includes former All-Pro running back DeMarco Murray, who was released by the Tennessee Titans in March.

Murray acknowledged a desire to play in 2018 when speaking to ESPN's Adam Schefter on his podcast, adding that he's had contact with a handful of teams.

"I've had a lot of discussions with four or five teams that I feel will be a great fit for me," the 30-year-old said, via Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper. "It's all about being transparent and, for me, I'm not looking to lead the league in rushing yards. Obviously I would work and do everything to give me the opportunity to do that, but it's all about having an opportunity to get to the playoffs and have an opportunity to win a championship."

Murray reportedly visited with the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and Miami Dolphins after his release. He also declined a group workout with the New Orleans Saints in June.

The three-time Pro-Bowler rushed for 659 yards, six touchdowns, and a career-low 3.6 yards per carry with the Titans in 2017. He's eclipsed the 1,000-yard barrier three times during his seven-year career.
