Titans, Walker sign 2-year, $17M extension
The Tennessee Titans wrapped up their second extension of the day on Friday afternoon, announcing a new deal for tight end Delanie Walker that will take him through the 2020 campaign.
Walker inked a two-year extension worth $17 million with $12.6 million in guarantees and an $8-million signing bonus, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, citing the tight end's agent.
The 33-year-old is now set to enter the final year of his previous deal before the extension kicks in. He's caught at least 60 passes in all five of his seasons with the Titans, and accumulated 74 receptions, 807 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in 2017.
Walker's extension came after the Titans made left tackle Taylor Lewan the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history earlier Friday.
