Ezekiel Elliott made sure Cowboys rookie got ball from 1st NFL TD
Thanks to Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Bo Scarbrough will have a way to remember his first NFL touchdown.
After Scarbrough scored on a one-yard run during the Cowboys' preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, Elliott ran down the field to retrieve the ball for his teammate, catching him by surprise.
"That says a lot about his personality to me, most guys probably wouldn't do that," Scarbrough told Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News. "Coming from Zeke, it means a lot. He didn't really have to do that. He brought me the ball and was like 'Hey, that's your ball.' You know I'm not used to holding the ball. I'm used to giving it back to the ref and getting ready to play the next play."
