Quarterback Tyrod Taylor would be in favor of the Cleveland Browns signing Dez Bryant when the free-agent receiver visits the team over the coming days.

"That would be awesome,'' Taylor said to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. "I've said this before. We know what type of talent Dez brings to the football field. He's been a very, very good player in his time throughout this league and he adds talent to the wide receiver room.

"I hope it can get done, but like I said, that's up to management. I definitely think he could help this team."

Bryant revealed Friday that he'll begin meeting with clubs, including the Browns, during the upcoming week. Earlier that day, Browns general manager John Dorsey said they were trying to schedule a workout with Bryant but he wasn't returning the their phone calls.

Bryant, 29, was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April after eight seasons. The three-time Pro Bowler posted 838 yards and six touchdowns last year.

Browns' receiver Jarvis Landry is also on board; he was seemingly trying to recruit the veteran Thursday via Twitter.
