Luck: 'Emotionally I was worn out' from return to game action, late flight
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck successfully made it through one preseason game in the latest chapter of his year-long quest to recover from a shoulder injury.

However, he says the team's decision to leave Seattle immediately after a narrow 19-17 win over the Seahawks may not have been the best choice.
"I was tired, I was exhausted," Luck told reporters on Monday, according to Colts.com's Andrew Walker. "I think emotionally I was worn out, and honestly it was probably the redeye home after the game. You know it makes you feel things a little extra, turns the volume up, but I felt physically okay, just energy-wise very low."
Luck played into the second quarter of Thursday night's matchup and led the team on two scoring drives concluding with successful field goals.
He said he's excited to get back out there next Monday, against the Baltimore Ravens, in order to continue to work with his new pass catchers and get "some more reps with Eric Ebron and Ryan Grant and some of the guys that I don't quite feel that we're on the same page 100 percent of the time."
