Roethlisberger ready for 15th season: Arm 'feels stronger than it ever has'
You hear it before every season: a player believes they are in the best shape of their life. They have never felt better.
This time, it's 36-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who is feeling the effects of a change to his offseason routine.
"How do I feel, whether that's my arm, my shoulder, my elbow, knees, ankles, just the general feeling of my body? I think it felt great. My arm feels stronger than it ever has," Roethlisberger said, according to Sean Gentille of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The quarterback cut sugar and carbs from his diet ahead of training camp and plans to enter the season much lighter because of it, so he may truly be in the best shape of his life for his 15th NFL campaign.
