Dolphins' Alonso stands on wrong sideline, insists he wasn't concussed

Miami Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso insisted Saturday he wasn't concussed when he was discovered standing with the wrong team.

"I kind of just went over there, and it was the wrong sideline," Alonso said postgame, via ESPN's Cameron Wolfe. "It happens."

Alonso didn't seem to realize he was in the wrong place until Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh made him aware of it.

Alonso, however, was adamant the disorientation wasn't from a head injury that he could've sustained while making a tackle on the previous play.

"If you can see the whole thing, I did a flip over the guy and I went over there with my head down," he said. "I was totally fine. People obviously right off the bat were like, 'Oh my God, he's concussed.' I'm like, 'No.'"

The Ravens appeared far less agitated with this Alonso gaffe than they were 10 months ago when he concussed quarterback Joe Flacco on a violent, late hit.
