For kids like Nickolas Manegold, 5, heading to Grade 1 next week, the spray pad at Pier 4 Park in Hamilton's west end provided a welcome relief from the heat and a last gasp of summer fun. Relief should be in sight, with cooler temperatures forecast for at least a couple of days before creeping back up over the Labour Day weekend.
