Report: Raiders' Worley facing 4-game suspension
Oakland Raiders cornerback Daryl Worley is facing a four-game suspension without pay, subject to appeal, in connection with his arrest earlier this offseason, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Worley pleaded guilty in June to driving under the influence, carrying firearms in public, and resisting arrest.
In April, while a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, the cornerback was found passed out in a car outside the team's practice facility. He was cut by the Eagles shortly after his arrest and signed with the Raiders a week later.
Worley won't count against Oakland's 53-man roster while suspended and will be eligible to return Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 23-year-old was a third-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2016. He accumulated two interceptions and one sack last season.
