Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed he'll feature in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings after surviving an injury scare during Sunday's victory over the Chicago Bears.

Rodgers suffered a knee injury during the first half and was carted to the locker room.

After a poor display from backup quarterback DeShone Kizer, Rodgers returned for the Packers' first offensive series of the second half and was in top form, throwing three fourth-quarter touchdowns to lead his team to a 24-23 victory.

He confirmed postgame that he expects to be fine going forward.

"It's the Bears-Packers rivalry. So it'd have to take something really catastrophic injury wise to keep me off the field the second half," Rodgers told NBC's Michele Tafoya. "I went in the locker room, did all the tests in our indoor facility trying to get it loosened up. But I knew once I got back on the field the adrenaline started going I would be able to hang in there."

"Oh I'm playing next week," Rodgers added, when asked about his status.

Packers fans can rest easy after Rodgers proved to be unstoppable during a second-half performance that will live long in memory.
