Report: Bengals' Mixon to undergo knee procedure; out 2 weeks
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will undergo a procedure on his knee Saturday to remove a small particle that was dislodged during Thursday night's win over the Baltimore Ravens, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Mixon is expected to be sidelined two weeks following the procedure, Schefter added.
The second-year back carried the ball 21 times against the Ravens, totaling 84 yards. He added one catch for 3 yards.
Giovani Bernard would be expected to lead the Bengals' backfield should Mixon miss time. Tra Carson and 2018 fourth-round pick Mark Walton could also see an increase in snaps. Walton was a healthy scratch for the team's first two games.
