Jordan Matthews became dad in Buffalo because there was 'nothing to do there'
Jordan Matthews has experienced some big life changes since the last time he suited up for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 26-year-old wide receiver, who rejoined the Eagles on Wednesday after spending last season with the Buffalo Bills, married Washington Spirit forward Cheyna Matthews in February and welcomed son Josiah in August. Matthews told reporters that his time in Buffalo is the reason he became a father.
"When I was in Buffalo, there was like nothing to do there, except ... have fun with your wife," Matthews said, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia. "She got pregnant. So we always say we got a Buffalo baby. Ain't nothing to do there, except each other."

Matthews struggled with injuries last season and was limited to 10 games as a result.
