Report: Mychal Kendricks wants indefinite suspension reduced
by Michael McClymont from on (#40AV7)
Suspended Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks is fighting his indefinite ban from the league, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
In September, Kendricks pleaded guilty to insider trading, and he'll be sentenced in January. He was allowed to play in three games with the Seahawks, and then the 28-year-old was handed an indefinite suspension earlier this week. Kendricks, along with his lawyers and the NFLPA, argue the league has no right to suspend him for an indefinite period.
Kendricks wants a specific number of games assigned to the suspension in order to make a return before his January sentencing.
