Centrus Contracted To Decommission K-1600 Facility

Nuclear fuel and service provider Centrus Energy Corp. said Friday that it had been awarded a $15 million Work Authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for decontamination and decomissioning (D&D) that will focus on preparing the Department's K-1600 facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for demolition.(read more)
