Halton police say the results of a two-day commercial vehicle enforcement blitz at Milton's Mohawk Raceway last week showed some encouraging signs for road safety. Compliance rates continue to slowly increase, police said, noting 443 commercial motor vehicles were inspected and 143 were taken out of service. In total, 268 charges were laid.
