Report: Jets' Crowell expected to play vs. Colts
by Michael McClymont from on (#40SZQ)
New York Jets running back Isaiah Crowell is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, a source informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Crowell was listed as questionable for the weekend contest due to an ankle injury. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before being a limited participant in Friday's session.
The 25-year-old set a new Jets franchise record with 219 rushing yards last Sunday and enters Week 6 as the fourth-leading rusher in the league with 390 yards and five touchdowns. Nonetheless, backup Bilal Powell leads the team in carries (59 to 57).
The Jets rank sixth in the league in rushing.
