Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's availability for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears is "up in the air right now," a source informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tannehill practiced Wednesday and Thursday, but was surprisingly downgraded to limited participation on Friday. The quarterback's shoulder has reportedly bothered him since Miami's Week 4 loss to the New England Patriots.

NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales spoke briefly with Dolphins head coach Adam Gase on Sunday morning, but he had little to share.

I just said hello & talked briefly to Dolphins Coach Adam Gase. I said, can I say anything about your quarterback Ryan Tannehill (Questionable). He said no. Then I said, so you don't know if he's playing? He threw his hands up in the air as if to say he didn't know. #CHIvsMIA

If Tannehill is unable to go, Brock Osweiler figures to get the start against the league's second-ranked defense.
