The Oakland Raiders have reportedly been in discussions to trade wide receiver Amari Cooper and safety Karl Joseph, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer.

The Raiders are shopping Joseph more aggressively than Cooper, per Glazer, but they have called multiple teams around the league to discuss a deal.

Both players are former first-rounders. Cooper was the No. 4 overall pick in 2015, while Joseph was selected No. 14 overall in 2016.

Oakland appears to be cleaning house under head coach Jon Gruden. The team traded star pass-rusher Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears in a blockbuster deal prior to the 2018 season. Mack was drafted fifth overall in 2014, and is one of the premier defensive players in the NFL.

The Raiders' top pass-catcher, Cooper was productive during his first two campaigns. He struggled in 2017, however, catching just 48 passes for 680 yards. The two-time Pro Bowler has 22 receptions for 280 yards and one touchdown through five contests this year.

Joseph, meanwhile, appears to have fallen out of favor with his team's new coaching staff. A starter in his first two seasons, the safety has played just 11 defensive snaps in 2018.
