Signpost: Community ice rinks, children’s aid, hospice lottery

The City of Burlington is encouraging neighbours to organize community ice rinks at local parks this winter. Groups applying will need a minimum of six people from their community to maintain the rink. Applications, due Dec. 31, are available at burlington.ca/neighbourhoodrink. City staff will install rink boards and hoses, and provide a training manual.
