Dominion Files To Keep Surry Running 80 Years

Dominion Energy said this week it had filed an application with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to renew Surry Power Station's operating licenses for an additional 20-year term, which makes it the third nuclear plant in the country to seek permission to operate its reactors for up to 80 years.(read more)
