Texans confirm Fuller out for season with torn ACL
Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien confirmed Friday that wide receiver Will Fuller tore his ACL in Thursday's win over the Miami Dolphins and will miss the rest of the season.
Fuller suffered the injury during the best game of his campaign. He caught five passes for 124 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins to help the Texans rattle off their fifth straight win.
The loss of Fuller, Houston's primary deep threat, is a big blow to the AFC South leader, which has been rounding into form with Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt both looking healthy.
Rookie receiver Keke Coutee should now slide into the starting lineup alongside DeAndre Hopkins.
