Texans' Watson cleared to fly following lung, ribs issues

Quarterback Deshaun Watson will be permitted to fly with the Houston Texans for their trip to face the Denver Broncos in Week 9, head coach Bill O'Brien told Sarah Barshop of ESPN on Monday.
Watson was forced to travel via bus for the Texans' Week 7 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars while battling lung and ribs issues, as the team was concerned about the possible effects of air pressure during the flight.
The sophomore quarterback sustained the injury against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5, but it hasn't prevented him from suiting up this year. He completed 16 of 20 pass attempts for 239 yards and a season-best five touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins while at home in Week 8.
