Jets' Morrissey to have hearing for Oshie takedown
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey will have a hearing Thursday afternoon for interference and unsportsmanlike conduct following his Wednesday night hit on Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced.
Morrissey was not penalized on the play, which occurred with just over a minute left in regulation.

Capitals head coach Todd Reirden had no update on Oshie's condition following the game.
The play was reminiscent of the hit Florida Panthers defenseman Mike Matheson delivered to Vancouver Canucks rookie Elias Pettersson earlier this season. Matheson received a two-game suspension for his actions.
