Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that quarterback Marcus Mariota suffered a stinger versus the Indianapolis Colts and did not reinjure his elbow, according to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.

Vrabel added Mariota experienced numbness after a hit to the head in the second quarter but did not suffer a concussion, Paul Kuharsky reports.

Kuharsky added Mariota will most likely get a second opinion, but Wyatt reports the Titans are hopeful the quarterback will be able to return for their Week 12 matchup with the Houston Texans.

The former No. 2 overall pick exited the game against Indianapolis moments before halftime and was evaluated during the break. He injured his elbow earlier in the year and was dealing with discomfort related to a pinched nerve.

Mariota completed 10 of 13 passes for 85 yards and an interception before going down. Blaine Gabbert would start in his place if he is not ready for next week's game.
