Waterford NPP Gets Environmental Pass For Extension

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission said Tuesday that it had published the final supplemental environmental impact statement for renewing the operating license of the Waterford nuclear power plant in Louisiana, concluding there were no environmental issues that would stand in the way of a 20-year license extension for the power plant.(read more)
