Christmas Tree of Hope
by from on (#43ESN)

The star is carefully mounted on the Christmas Tree of Hope in Gore Park by Peter Ferelli and Troy Croonen from the City of Hamilton. This is one of two massive evergreen trees the city has placed downtown for Christmas. One is located outside city hall and is covered with 2,500 lights. The tree pictured here will have about 4,000 lights hung on its boughs. The official lighting and concert will happen Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m.
