San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested on a domestic violence charge Saturday night at a Florida hotel, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department arrest report obtained by Eric Branch of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Foster, who was with the 49ers at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, was booked into a local jail at 11:11 p.m. ET. Bond has not yet been posted.

Previous domestic violence charges brought against Foster were dropped in May after his ex-girlfriend, Elissa Ennis, recanted her claims both in a statement released through her attorney and later under oath in court.

49ers general manager John Lynch was adamant during the early 2018 investigation that if the allegations proved to be true, Foster wouldn't be a part of the organization moving forward.

Jed York, the club's CEO, shared a similar sentiment.

"We'd love Reuben to be on this team," York told Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area in March. "And we'd love him to participate for us, but if he's not doing things off the field that allow us to be able to rely on him - or he's doing something that we're not comfortable with off the field and it's proven that's what's going on - I think the guys have said then you're just going to have to move on."

After having the domestic violence charge dropped, along with a marijuana charge, Foster pleaded no contest to a weapons possession misdemeanor. As a result, he was issued a two-game suspension to start the 2018 season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
