Bruce Arians is apparently seriously contemplating ending his retirement.

The former Arizona Cardinals head coach said the Cleveland Browns are the only destination he has his eyes on, and that his wife, who encouraged him to retire, is fully on board with a potential return.

"I would listen to the Browns," Arians told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "And only them."

Arians was reiterating his interest from earlier in the month, but at the time, he recommended ex-Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano for the job.

Cleveland is expected to hire a head coach who can nurture Baker Mayfield, and Arians' impressive list of mentored quarterbacks includes Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Andrew Luck.

Despite his interest in the position, and the potentially prolific partnership with Mayfield, Arians put his chances at earning the job at "one percent" but added that "we'll see."

"I've always loved Cleveland," Arians said. "The fans, shoot, one of the best groups in the league and when I called their game this past year, I got that feeling about them."
