Jets' Byfuglien to be placed on injured reserve with concussion
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has been diagnosed with a concussion and will be placed on injured reserve, head coach Paul Maurice announced, according to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun.
The injury occurred during Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins following a collision with defenseman Jamie Oleksiak. Byfuglien briefly left the game as part of the concussion protocol, but later returned.

Byfuglien was held out of Thursday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
The 33-year-old has gotten off to a productive start this season with 17 points in 21 games.
