Former Detroit Lions, St. Louis Rams, and New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested in Mobile, Ala. on Friday and charged with two counts of menacing, according to ESPN.

Police said Fairly, 30, allegedly threatened someone with a gun. No injuries were reported and no motive for Fairley's actions were given. He posted bail shortly after he was booked into jail.

The Lions chose Fairley with the 13th overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent four years with the team, compiling 13.5 sacks and five forced fumbles over 46 games. He spent the 2015 season with the Rams, but didn't make a start over 15 games and recorded just 0.5 sacks.

Fairley rebounded with the Saints in 2016, starting all 16 games and finishing the year with a career-best 6.5 sacks. He missed last season due to a heart condition and has gone unsigned since being released in February.
